The AC-2259 is a long-range night vision observation system with 3x magnification. It was built around the high performance Gen 2+, 25mm image intensifier tube and panoramic eyepiece. The oversized 25mm image tube delivers a larger image of exceptional quality compared to 18mm tubes. The panoramic eyepiece wraps around the user’s face and delivers a high quality oversized image, producing a 3-Dimensional type of effect. The AC-2259 is an ideal tool for Border Patrol, Coast Guard, or any other application where high magnification and a wide field of view night vision binocular is required. Under normal night conditions the binocular performs similar or equal to the latest Gen 3 models. If needed, it can be equipped with a removable long-range infrared illuminator.
